Women use most of the same preening gestures as men like smoothing their hair, straightening their clothes, foot and body pointing towards the male they are interested in. They can also demonstrate the hands in pockets with thumbs protruding gesture although they are much more subtle typically a thumb on their belt, or protruding from their handbag.
